If you've ever cared for a dog, this banter is familiar. Some dogs enjoy being alone outside, and revel at a chance to be one with nature. Not Cheyanne, though. She loves loves company, so much that she'll consistently ask for it, whether you're ready to give it or not. And if she gets the attention she craves, you'll never see a quieter K-9.
This 7-year-old Malamute is spayed and was raised with kids and cats, and gets along with everyone. She is good on a leash, is very well housetrained and has impeccable doggie-bowl manners.
If you'd like to adopt a pet, stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works on the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open seven days a week, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Call 235-3141, e-mail pow@homeranimalshelter.com or visit the shelter's Web site at www.homeranimals. com.
"Did you leave the dog out?" "I don't remember. Did someone bring him in?" "I think Mike did nope."
