March 26 meet to focus on potential changes to fisheries observer program

The North Pacific Fisheries Association and the K-Bay Fisheries hold a public meeting regarding proposed changes to the federal fishery observer program from 10 a.m. to noon March 26 at the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center auditorium. Martin Loefflad from the National Marine Fisheries Service in Seattle will attend to brief fishermen and to take comments regarding potential changes to the observer program that the North Pacific Fishery Management Council is considering.
