Pet of the Week
Holy moly, you’ve got to meet Scooter. This neutered, 2-year-old low-slung miniature poodle mix will win your heart with his youthful energy and very dashing phantom coloring. That’s not phantom, as in disappear. It’s phantom, as in a handsome mixture of black and brown.
His outgoing personality makes him a good buddy to kids, cats and other dogs. He does well on a leash. And if you’re going somewhere in the car, be sure to take him along because he loves car rides. Other traits and tricks in his repertoire? That’s for his new family to discover.
If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
