Persia, after all, was evil. That, of course, was almost 2,500 years ago and despite the emotional manipulations of a complicit media, it is we who are the aggressors now and not Iran. The release of “300” as U.S. war ships are about to attack Iran is purely sinister, at least in its timing.
Questioning the invasion of Iran inevitably leads us to ultimately view both the current war in Iraq and the war on terror as bogus creations of a government that cannot get its story straight as to just who did 9/11. It would be more appropriate then for Americans to make war on corruption than on terror. Our government is lying about Iran as it lied about Iraq as it continues to lie about the war on terror. Would it be so outrageous to assume it may not be telling all it knows about 9/11?
If questioning or arguing with power is no longer an option in America, then Sparta, it must be said, was not worth fighting for.
