Homer Council on the Arts is accepting applications for gallery shows June 2005 through June 2006. Please provide samples of artwork — slides are acceptable — and a resume at the HCOA office, 355 W. The 2005 Alaska Music Conference at Snowgoose Restaurant, Theatre, Pub and meeting rooms will feature workshops on guitar, bass, drum, voice and banjo. Seminars include how to self-promote, recording basics and the logistics of touring. Three stages will be filled with more than 50 bands, including four national groups.
