Chapman School

Connections Program

March 27: The Homer Connections office will be closed all day for staff in-service.

Ongoing: Homer Connections office has Standards Based Assessment, SBA-HSGQE practice tests and scoring guides available for Connections students in grades 3-10.

April 2: The SBA science test for Homer Connections students in grades 4, 8 and 10 will be given at 8:45 a.m., Glacierview Church.

Fireweed Academy

March 26-27: Artist-in-the-school field trips to Ahna Iredale's pottery studio.

Homer Flex School

Ongoing: Registration. Homer Flex High School helps students earn high shcool diplomas through standards- and performance-based instruction. Flex serves those who are behind in graduation crdits or who need an alternative environment to balance school and work.

Announcement: Paul Banks Special Needs Preschool is taking applications for the 2009-2010 school year for the peer model program. Applications are available at the Paul Banks Elementary School office during school hours. The last day to submit an application is April 3.

Alaska Bible Institute
