The Cook Inlet Classic Wrestling Tournament was held on March 25 at East High School in Anchorage. Twenty-three wrestlers from Homer attended. There were about 300 kids in the tournament ages 5 years and up. Popeye Wrestlers took 12 top-three finishes.
3rd Place kids: Tyler Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Gavirl Kalugin and Nikola Kalugin.
2nd Place kids: Joe Resetarits, Kip Kalugin, Zenon Martushev, Zack Mayes.

Popeye’s next event, The Popeye Ribbon Takedown Tourney, is Friday at the Homer Middle School.
