O' Canada
I've just returned from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, where I competed in the Arctic Winter Games for basketball with Team Alaska. We brought home the silver ulu, along with many friendships and memories. This was an awesome experience that wouldn't have been possible without the support of Scruggs Automotive, the Homer Emblem Club, the Homer Elks Lodge and Eileen Mullen. I'd also like to thank Shari Daugherty, Mark Mahan, Tim Daugherty and my Arctic Winter Games coach Deb Lowney. I'm looking forward to helping out in the 2006 Arctic Winter Games located right here on the Kenai Peninsula.
