Pet of the Week
Spring is the time when young men moon about, thinking of love. Keats is no different. He’s always lying down in sunny spots, writing sonnets about the longing in his heart. “Asleep! O sleep a little while, white pearl!”
But with his dreamy, golden eyes, it won’t be long before his true love — you — happens along and takes him home.
Keats is 1-year-old, neutered and gets along very well with other cats. He has a very sweet disposition and will be faithful all his days, taking his attention away from you only to publish small books of verse.
If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
