Singer, songwriter and jokester Hammel On Trial will perform punk acoustic/anti-folk music at Duggan’s Waterfront Pub at 8 p.m. Friday. Hammel has toured with Ani DiFranco and records on Righteous Babe Records. Tickets are $17 for KBBI members, $19 for nonmembers.
Dramaslam returns
Dramaslam! 2006 is a 24-hour theater festival sponsored by Pier One Theatre scheduled for Saturday at Land’s End Resort.

Recital series concludes
The final event of the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra Winter Recital Series on Sunday features vocalist Mari Hahn with Dean Epperson providing piano accompaniment. Hahn is a voice professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage and will work with Homer High School students on Monday. Epperson grew up in Homer and is an adjunct music professor at UAA. The recital will be held at Chocolate Mousse B&B. Tickets are available at Etude Music Studio. For information, call 235-7579.
Random acts of theatre
Homer High School’s Drama Debate and Forensics Team and counterparts from Nikiski and Skyview high schools will perform “Random Acts of DDF” at Mariner Theatre at 7 p.m. April 14. Tickets are $5 adults, $3 children. Proceeds benefit peninsula DDF teams. For information, call 235-2717.
