The Classic drew 50 or so Homer area party-sport enthusiasts to a devilishly designed slalom, jump and cross-country course near the home of last year's winner John Faris.
As usual, events included a beer-a-thon, whiskey scramble, slalom and cross-country race and jump.
After the events were judged and all the results were tallied, Alexson said she still didn't really know how she won.
"It's kind of a blur at this point," Alexson said. "It was pretty tight, a couple other girls were skiing really well. I think I just came out ahead because I had a better costume."
Pepper will be charged with hosting next year's event and said he is already looking forward to it.
"It marks the end of winter and the start of spring," Pepper said. "I hope it continues."
"The only thing that went wrong (this year) is we splashed all the water out of the hot tub. Hopefully we can fix that next year," he said.
Andy Wills, a longtime Classic participant, said the Faris setup will be hard to beat.
"The jump was formidable at best, deadly at worst," Wills said. "But a good time was had by all, as usual."
