Homers sales tax to fund a parks, recreation and community schools program?

The proposal would not raise the sales tax.

Yes = 70 percent (40 votes)

No = 30 percent (17 votes)

• I am in support of one-quarter of one percent of sales tax revenue being dedicated to Parks, Rec, and Community Schools. Alaskans are outdoor people who enjoy a variety of recreational and educational programs. Tourists also find our recreational facilities and programs inviting. We should support a comprehensive program.
