Homer amazes Anchorage visitors
For the second year, my husband and I came down to Homer to attend the Cowboy Cabaret (a benefit for the Kachemak Bay equestrian association). We had another rousing evening with poetry, music and great food. My congratulations to all of the planners and volunteers for putting on an exceptional event. I look forward to next year's bash.
This year we had another treat and that was to have a second chance to see and hear Acoustic Africa. We had seen this group in Anchorage on Friday evening, attending with no real idea of what was in store for us. Well, the PAC was pretty near full and it was one of the most enjoyable concerts we had attended in quite some time. We were able to get tickets for ourselves and a dear friend to see the group on Sunday evening in the Mariner Theatre and the performance was even better.
Again, congratulations to the Homer Council on the Arts for arranging a fantastic evening. Homer just continues to amaze me with what all is available to its citizens.
Cheers,
Robin and Bjarne Holm
