Young hockey coaches inspiring

As a hockey family with more than 40 years of history in the United States and Canada, we would like to recognize the efforts, dedication and commitment of Adam Treiweiler and Scott Owens for coaching in Homer Hockey Association. Almost always, youth coaches in hockey are parents of a player on the team. It is promising to see two young adults who played as kids come back to the sport with passion and spirit returned to youth athletics. For them to step up as young adults and coach a hockey team with no familial affiliation or monetary reason is inspiring.

On behalf of the youth in Homer, thank you, Adam and Scott, for your interest and help with our children.
