Akulina Martushev was born at 9:14 p.m. April 9, 2009, at South Peninsula Hospital to Varsonofy and Polly Martushev of Nikolaevsk. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Her grandparents are Vladimir and Tatiana Martushev of Nikolaevsk and Ivan and Epistimea Chesnokov of Gervais, Ore.
