April 7

A caller at 11:22 a.m. reported a theft from a downtown hotel room.

A caller at 11:35 a.m. reported two men feeding eagles on the Homer Spit.

Police at 11 a.m. received a report by fax from a local school of stolen property.

A man at 10:19 a.m. turned in at the police station a briefcase he found.

A caller at 10:30 p.m. reported a drunk man staggering into the road on the Sterling Highway near Thomas Street. Police took the drunk man into protective custody.

April 8

A caller at 9:59 a.m. reported a driver spinning doughnuts in a Bunnell Avenue parking lot and spraying gravel on and damaging cars.

A caller at 11:14 a.m. reported damage to a building on Bunnell Avenue from the same car spraying gravel.

A store employee at 2:08 pm. reported a shoplifter at a Lake Street store.

A woman at 9:35 p.m. reported someone stole trash cans from her Soundview Avenue home.

April 9

Police at 9:21 a.m. assisted medics with a drunk and combative patient.

A caller at 3:15 p.m. reported a student drove away recklessly in a silver sedan from the high school.

Police at 8:45 p.m. issued a summons to a 56-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

April 10

A caller at 11:37 a.m. reported a man in a white truck dumping boards on the Spit beach.

A man at 5:06 p.m. reported ongoing drug deals at a Pennock Street address.

Police at 5:31 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers in a death investigation.

A man at 4:55 p.m. reported guns missing from his Pioneer Avenue business.

Police at 9:52 p.m. contacted a 34-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue and arrested him for driving while license suspended.

April 11

Police at 4:17 a.m. issued a summons to a 19-year-old man for minor consuming alcohol.

A caller at 12:41 p.m. reported a disoriented elderly woman lying in a tub. EMTs and police responded.

A man at 5:09 p.m. reported drivers of four cars spinning brodies in the parking area at Karen Hornaday Park. Police told the drivers to move their cars or they would be cited.

April 12

Police at 3:18 a.m. saw a drunk pedestrian on West Hill Road. Police took the person to a family member's home.

A woman at 5:18 a.m. reported a person violated a restraining order. Police could not find the suspect.

A woman at 10:26 a.m. reported her wallet and cell phone were stolen the night before.

April 13

A caller at 8:57 a.m. reported a person sleeping in a bus barn on Heath Street and was worried about the person. Police could not located the victim.
