Niles Arthur Kaho
Lifelong Alaskan Niles Arthur Kaho died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Stone Brook Inn in Soldotna. He was 83.
A celebration of his life will be held in the summer of 2007.
Mr. Kaho was born September 25, 1924 in Seldovia and worked as a commercial fisherman and tug boat skipper. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on May 15, 1943. He sailed with the 10th Army Air Force Rescue Boat Squadron on the 104 ft. Crashboat during World War II in the Aleutian Islands.
Mr. Kaho was preceded in death by his mother, father and stepfather.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
