Pet of the Week

Missy sings the blues. She'll sing for her supper. Heck, she'll 'Sing Sing' — just get her out of this darn kennel. A gentle, loving and loyal 1-year-old silver Tabby, Missy doesn't know why she ended up at the Homer Animal Shelter. Content and well kept maybe, but boy, a real forever home would sure be nice.

If you would like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon–5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
