Aurora Marina Springer was born on Feb. 26, 2011, at the Alaska Native Medical Center, Anchorage, to Matthew and Emilie Springer. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. Her big sister is Anna. Her grandparents are Sara Jackinsky and Ken Jones, Bob Hartley, Ray and Kate Springer, and Gary Horrell. Her great-grandmother is Peg Perkins. Her uncles and aunts are Morgan Jones, Kim Hoppe and Loretta Marx. Aunts Maggie Springer, Jacquelyn and Nadia also were in Anchorage at the time of her birth.
