Keep up the good work

Congratulations to the wonderful staff at the Homer News for winning 14 Alaska Press Club awards. Homer is fortunate to have a newspaper with such a professional staff that work hard to keep us informed. From the big stories to the smallest detail the Homer News endeavors to bring accuracy and interest to their pages.

Whether it is a Rotary Health Fair, Mariner sports, or well written obituaries we can count on the Homer News to make sure we know about. While I do not always agree with the Homer News, I do appreciate all they do for this community to support the nonprofits, families and business folk.

Many small town papers have gone the way of the LP and BETA technology. We are fortunate to be able to have the continued support of the Homer News.
