Alysha Mathewson, 57, died April 11, 2011, at South Peninsula Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1953, in California.

Her family said, "Alysha will be missed by all her family and many friends in Homer." She is survived by three brothers, Tim Mathewson of California, James McKelvey of Minnesota and Bob Barnett of California; and her sister, Mary Barnett of Washington.
