Upstream from the confluence of the north and south forks is open August 1 <> December 31 for rainbow trout/steelhead but they may not be retained or removed from water. All other species follow the bag limits of the lower river.
No more than two king salmon 20 inches or longer may be taken each year from the Anchor River and Deep Creek combined. After taking a king salmon 20 inches or longer from the Anchor River, a person may not fish for any species of fish in either drainage on that same day.
In all flowing waters, only one unbaited, single-hook, artificial lure is allowed Sept. 1- Dec. 31.
Fishing Hole Defined as along the east side of the Homer Spit, from the Homer City Dock near the entrance of the Homer Boat Harbor to Alaska Department of Fish & Game markers about 200 yards northwest of the entrance to the fishery enhancement lagoon (including the Homer Boat Harbor and the enhancement lagoon) to a distance of 300 feet from shore, the daily bag and possession limit for king salmon is two. The daily bag and possession limit for other salmon (including coho salmon) is six. King salmon 20" or longer must be recorded April 1- Sept. 30. Snagging is not permitted here except by emergency order.
Deep Creek Entire drainage closed to all fishing January 1 <> May 28. From its mouth upstream two miles to ADF&G markers: King salmon 20-inch or longer open May 29-31, June 5-7 and June 12-14. Limit one per day, one in possession. All other species are open May 29-31, June 5-7, June 12-14 and July 1 - Dec. 31. Limits for salmon other than king salmon 16 inches or longer are three per day, three in possession. Limits for king salmon less than 20 inches and other salmon less than 16 inches are 10 per day, 10 in possession. Arctic char/Dolly Varden limits are two per day, two in possession. Retention of rainbow trout and steelhead is not allowed year-round.

China Poot Dipnet No permit is required. Sockeye salmon may be taken July 1 <> August 7 in China Poot Creek upstream of ADF&G markers. The bag and possession limits are six sockeye salmon per person per day. Only sockeye salmon may be retained.
Kasilof Dipnet Open June 25 <> August 7, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Total yearly harvest is 25 salmon for the permit holder and 10 salmon for each additional household member. The limit is combined for all four fisheries, not for each fishery. No retention of king salmon is allowed in the Kasilof River dip net fishery. Permit required.
