At an emergency meeting held Saturday, April 18, at 11 a.m. in the Homer High School gym, members of the Homer City Council, various government and disaster organization officials and interested citizens of the area held an open discussion concerning the impact of the earthquake on the Homer area, both in its physical aspects as to direct damage and the long-range effect on the economy.
