Take them to the fair with their bikes. They can get their bike checked out and learn a few safety tips while having a little fun. There are low-cost bikes helmets and reflective stickers for the kids. There will be water safety sessions in the pool too. The time you spend with your kid at the fair on Saturday could be more valuable than you would ever care to imagine.
