A Safe Kids Kenai Peninsula Water Event will take place on May 5 citizens

A Safe Kids Kenai Peninsula Water Event will take place on May 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Skyview High School Pool entrance. Children ages 4-14 are invited to bring bathing suits and towels and learn about personal flotation devices, safe boat loading, cold-water immersion, river safety and other topics. Parents or caregivers must attend with their children. Mustang personal flotation devices will be available for sale for $10. For more information, call Jane Fellman at (907) 714-4539.
