The Pratt Museum will host the opening reception for 2007 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival keynote speaker John Acorn
The Pratt Museum will host the opening reception for 2007 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival keynote speaker John Acorn on May 11 from 4-6 p.m. The evening will include a CD signing, lottery drawing and refreshments. Lottery winners will enjoy a walk through the woods on the Pratt's Forest Ecology Trail with Acorn and the Pratt's resident Entomologist and Education Director Lois Bettini on May 12 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Pratt Museum Store will have a festival booth at the Homer High School from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on May 12. The Pratt plans to set up the SeeBirdCam on Gull Island as soon as weather permits. Come by the Pratt to watch your feathered friends up close in real time.
