Entries in the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival Amateur Photo Contest are due by 6 p.m. May 7. Entry blanks are available at NOMAR, Eagle Eye Photo and the Chamber of Commerce. Complete details of the 2007 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival are available at www.homeralaska.org/shorebird.htm, or on the printed program, available at the Homer Chamber of Commerce, Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center and around the state. The festival will be held May 10-13. Register early.
