Homer, Alaska - Schools

Story last updated at 8:56 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2008

Rikki Tikki time

Students in teacher Rebecca Boone's second-grade class at Paul Banks Elementary School put last-minute touches on their production of "Rikki Tikki Tembo." Before performing for family members and friends, the students took to the stage at Paul Banks, asking classmates for tips to improve the show. "The students were so proud of themselves, and I was proud of the many students who were able to step in at the last minute and cover for others who were sick. Thanks for coming," Boone wrote in a letter to parents.
