Homer may be in for rough season
This is my 21st continuous year in the halibut charter fishing business in Homer. My advance bookings with paid-deposit for the coming summer are down 25 percent from normal for this time of year. This is the worst booking season I have ever experienced.
If the other charter fishing companies are having the same experience, we are in for a major downturn in the coming tourist season.
