In Brief - Farm family nominations sought
Nominations for the Alaska State Fair Farm Family of the Year are currently being accepted at the Alaska State Fair office in Palmer. Nominations may be e-mailed to info@alaskastatefair.org; mailed to Farm Family, Alaska State Fair, 2075 Glenn Highway, Palmer, Alaska, 99645; or faxed to (907) 746-2699. Use the following criteria in making nominations:
n Production of quality Alaska Grown Product;
n Community involvement (civic, school, sports, church, etc.);
n Agricultural industry organizations (local, state, federal, etc.);
n Overall farm family image, farming history, unique or special production.
