Homer Alaska - Letters

Most sincere thanks to Homer Foundation's Youth Advisory Committee for its generous support of young people from our community who engage in summer programming through The Children & Adolescent Program at The Center. During the school year, The Center's C&A Program staff provides support in the schools; during summer vacation, the staff continue to provide support and skill-teaching activities in various locations in the community.

Through the support of the Homer Foundation, we will be able to offer young people an exciting opportunity to spend a day on Kachemak Bay. We look forward to hearing about the wonders of octopus, sea stars, harbor seals and sea otters. We are grateful to the Youth Advisory Committee for making this experience possible for children who will value the memory of a special day learning about the ocean environment around them.
