A memorial service will be held at a later date in California.
Mr. Young was born July 13, 1924 in Kutch, Colorado. He graduated high school and took night classes at a Union trade school. He served in the military during World War II in Europe and he was honorably discharged.
Mr. Young was a sheet metal worker for Union Local #273. He retired in 1971. He also enjoyed fishing and travel.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian. He is survived by his son, Tom Young of Homer; daughter, Cindy Fackrell of Burley, Ida.; and brothers, Don Davis and Richard Davis, both of Kingman, Ariz.
