Pet of the Week

Once upon a time the White House had a First Cat. Shouldn't the Obamas bring a cat into their lives, too? Sage thinks so. A six-month-old girl with gorgeous markings, she'd look smashing in the White House or your house. She's friendly, loves to play and loves everybody.

If you would like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
