The Alaska Natural Heritage Program, in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, conducts amphibian surveys this spring in the Cook Inlet area. The Homer Chamber of Commerce hosts a community forum on May 22 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn conference room to assist residents and business owners as they sort through the potential impacts of box stores in Homer and the outcome of the growth period the community is now in.
