Dear Editor,
The trip to New York City to sing in Carnegie Hall is over, but the memories will last a lifetime for the 30 Homer High School Choir students and Wow! what memories. We would like to thank all the folks who bought raffle tickets, baked goods, candy and candle memorials to help defray student costs for the trip. Special thanks to the raffle prize donors who made it possible for all the proceeds to go directly to the students: the Art Shop Gallery, Ed Tussey, Michelle LaFriniere, NBA Insurance Services and Beverly Jones. Student costs were lowered by an average of $350 per student. Once again, Homer and Anchor Point come through for our young people.
