No cause for celebration
Upon hearing of Bin Laden's death, a line from the "Tao Te Ching" came immediately into my conscious-ness: "Conduct your triumph as a funeral."
I am aghast at the crowds of Americans gleefully celebrating the violent death of another human being.
Whenever one makes any other "the enemy," that same energy is exacerbated by the accuser.
Violent persons must be stopped, but to rejoice in an act of violence and death only contributes to violence within and without.
