Brit DelMoral and Nicholas Szymoniak, both of Anchorage, were married in a private ceremony on May 1, 2010, in Seward. Brit is the daughter of Tony and Angie DelMoral of Sitka and the niece of Leo and Nancy Vait of Homer. Brit graduated from Sitka High School in 2005 and earned a bachelor of arts in sociology from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2009. She is a private consultant and owns her own firm, Baranof Consulting & Associates.

Nick is the son of Glen and Chris Szymoniak of Homer, currently residing in McCall, Idaho. He graduated from Homer High School in 2002 and received a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2006. Nick is a natural gas supply analyst for Enstar Natural Gas Company. The couple plans to renew their vows in summer 2011.
