Brandon R. Fredericks, 24, was indicted for first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and second-degree theft, all felonies. Another suspect, Wade W. Thurmond, 19, was arrested the night of the robbery.
Fredericks and Thurmond are alleged to have held up the store right as clerk Kristin Craver was closing for the night. Both men wore masks, Craver told troopers.
One man held a gun to Craver's head. "Are you scared?" the man allegedly asked Craver, and she told him she was mad because she could hear BBs rattling and he had a BB gun. The indictment charges Fredericks with assaulting Craver with the BB gun.
Tracks in the snow led troopers to Thurmond's nearby home. The troopers also found a truck registered to Thurmond parked at the Warehouse.
Troopers served a warrant on the truck and searched it, finding cell phones and wallets with identification belonging to Thurmond and Fredericks.
Troopers arrested Fredericks in February when he reported to his probation officer for an appointment. Sgt. Ted Nordgaarden, head of the Anchor Point Trooper Post, said Fredericks wore clothing to his appointment similar to what one robbery suspect was reported wearing.
Fredericks also allegedly failed a drug test, a violation of his probation.
