Homer Chamber of Commerce’s May Mixer will be at Bear Cove Resort Saturday. Chamber members are invited for an afternoon of wildlife viewing, tour of the resort, food and door prizes. Reservations are required. For more information, call 235-7740.
Restaurants turns 24th
Boardwalk Fish and Chips is open on the Cannery Road Boardwalk, across from the Harbor Master and Mako’s Water Taxi. The menu includes fresh local halibut and salmon, hamburgers, salads and homemade clam chowder. Dine inside or on the deck. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
