Thank you, South Peninsula Hospital

Over the past 20 years I have been a patient at your facility on many occasions. I am always amazed at the quality of care I have received. You are blessed with loving, caring and compassionate doctors, nurses, aides and technical staff. You have state-of-the-art equipment in all departments. For a small community like Homer, that is something you can be proud of. I once asked how you managed to get such quality personnel. The answer I got was, "We love what we do."

I have a bit of advice for patients. Remember these people work long hours and always with sick people, some of whom can be cranky and difficult to deal with. You can help by being nice and by cooperating to make their job more pleasant and easier.

Again, SPH, thank you for a job well done.
