Graveside services are 2 p.m. May 12, 2005, at the Port Graham Cemetery in Port Graham. Reader John Moonin will officiate. A memorial dinner will immediately follow the services.
Mr. Hedrick was born June 28, 1940, to William and Eloise (Bandy) Hedrick in Tacoma, Wash. He entered into the U.S. Army on Sept. 16, 1957, and was honorably discharged Feb. 24, 1972. He continued serving in the Army National Guard of Alaska as a reserve of the Army until Feb. 23, 1975, when he was honorably discharged. Mr. Hedrick moved to Alaska in 1971 and had lived in Anchorage, Port Graham and Homer until his passing.
Mr. Hedrick was preceded in death by his son, Wade L.J. Hedrick.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Fedora J. Hedrick of Homer; sons Daniel M.T. Hedrick of Anchorage and Timothy Neal Hedrick of Homer; daughter Connie L.E. Hedrick of Seward; granddaughters, Katrina B.R. Dupree and Ludmilla F.J. Hedrick, both of Seward; grandsons, Aaron D. Hedrick of Coos Bay, Ore. and Jonathan J.W. Hedrick of Shelton, Wash.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to the American Legion, Post 16, P.O. Box 858, Homer, AK 99603 or to Hospice of Homer, 3953 Bartlett St. Suite 3, Homer, AK 99603.
