May 9

A man at 8:24 a.m. reported a propane heater stolen from his car parked on the Homer Spit Road.

Police at 8:45 a.m. went to Homer High School to do a safe driving demonstration.

A man at 9:13 a.m. reported seeing a bear cub in the Fairview Avenue area.

A caller at 12:56 p.m. reported finding drug paraphernalia in an East End Road subdivision.

A woman at 8:44 p.m. reported a strange and pervasive smell in the Mission Road area.

A man at 9:41 p.m. made a 911 call of an employee causing a disturbance at a Pioneer Avenue business. Police responded. EMTs transported a man to the hospital.

May 10

Two people at 8:44 and 11 a.m. reported a jeweler would not return items left for repair.

A teacher at 9:19 a.m. reported a student left the high school campus without permission. Police contacted the student with a caregiver.

A person at 2:34 p.m. made a 911 call of a drunk man lying in the road on Waddell Way. Police and EMTs responded.

A woman at 8:19 p.m. reported juveniles wrapping a car with plastic wrap.

A man at 8:56 p.m. reported someone threw a rock through the back window his camper on the Spit while he was away.

A man at 9:41 p.m. reported a woman at a campfire too close to a boardwalk on the Spit. Police responded.

May 11

A woman at 8:11 a.m. reported a tent near trees on private property with evidence of a recent fire in the Ocean Drive Loop area. Police responded but couldn't find the resident of the tent.

A caller at 10:06 a.m. reported a missing man.

A caller at 1:46 p.m. reported a man became belligerent and made threats at a Pioneer Avenue restaurant.

A caller at 7:42 p.m. reported a drunk man making suicidal threats.

A man at 10:53 p.m. reported an assault at a Main Street address. Police responded and separated the parties involved.

May 12

A caller at 2:26 a.m. reported a fight at a Pioneer Avenue bar. Police contacted the suspects and determined it was mutual combat.

A caller at 4:15 a.m. reported two people leaving an unsecured storage unit on Heath Street. Police responded.
