Thomas D. Blazy and Sandra J. Vozar share their joy with family and friends in a commitment ceremony of mutual trust, love, tenderness and respect, on Sunday, July 4, 2010, at "The Homestead" in Anchor Point, where they will make their home.

Tom and Sandra became engaged on Thanksgiving 2009 during their visit to Seattle to see Tom's family. Tom, Sandra, and their respective families have been friends since 1970.

Tom came to Alaska in 1959 and homesteaded in Anchor Point. Tom is a businessman and was a general contractor in Soldotna for over 40 years. Tom has three daughters, Laura, Kelly and Stacy, all of whom graduated from Soldotna High School.

Sandra arrived in Alaska in 1967 and became the youngest female real estate broker in Alaska. Sandra has been a local business woman in Kenai and Anchorage for over 40 years.
