Second, we inadvertently stumbled on a very rare species of Humor Tattle Extraordinaire (a.k.a. your columnist, Nick C. Varney). Our little mob found his piece about his dog Howard and Little Bear a complete riot. We asked around and found out that Varney has been a regular for a long time, so we checked out your Web site. Man, you guys make him hard to find, but we did it and were rewarded with super down-home humor. Simply put? ROTFLMFAO stuff!
Nick now has a fan club in Wasilla, and we'll be following him closely online. By the way, we enjoyed your paper, but that boy should be writing for magazines and newspaper chains, if he isn't already. If anyone should put out an Alaska humorous tales book, your screwball columnist should.
