The companies that donated helped to provide us with a great field trip.
This village is filled with Russian Old Believers. We walk to school; we do not take buses. Our school is small and does not have a cafeteria or a gymnasium. We live in a small village along the beautiful beach and surrounded by mountains and big flowing rivers. We have to face the switchback and wildlife around us every day. You may fear the switchback once a year, but we deal with it daily; we are used to it because we live here.
We took a field trip across to Peterson Bay. It meant a lot to us to be able to do something like this because we have never been on an overnight trip before. We learned about so many things in so little time from animals to rocks, plankton to nature. We were so excited to have a field trip far away from our school.
Again, we would like to thank all the companies that made this trip possible. Thank you,
