Pet of the Week

Bandit is feeling a little abandoned. Raised as an indoor dog with a family, Bandit is a 1-and-a-half-year-old neutered husky who is not used to being on his own. Good with kids and car rides, loving and smart, this housetrained and currently vaccinated dog is ready to go home with someone who might need a buddy.

If you would like to adopt a pet, stop by the Homer Animal Shelter located on the bypass next to Public Works, or call 235-3141.

The Homer Animal Shelter and Homer Animal Friends hold the seventh annual Strut Your Mutt on Saturday, June 10. Stop by the Homer Bookstore or Barb’s Video to pick up a pledge sheet. Volunteers are needed.
