Inez Dunn, known for her jewelry, has opened The Beach House Gallery at Lighthouse Village at the base of Homer Spit. Dunn displays her jewelry, handmade lotions and scents, abstract paintings and beach-inspired centerpieces. She will not be holding First Friday events.
Lighthouse Village also includes open-air craft booths and shops, including the work of popular chainsaw artist Ralph Stover. Other artists and craftspeople include Richard Miller and Jesusa "Susan" Smith.
The Kenai Watershed Forum is accepting applications for artist booth space at the Kenai River Festival in Kenai on June 11 and 12. Application deadline is Monday. Call Josselyn Burke at 260-5449 or download an application from the Web at www.kenaiwatershed.org.
