Festus

Young Festus was on his way to a great career as a major league canine. His training was going well; he had mastered "sit" and was working on "lay down." When he broke his leg, he hated being on the disabled list and he waited patiently, dreaming about running, jumping and playing again. Unfortunately the cast was kept on his leg too long and now his left leg is weak with atrophied muscles. Despite this, Festus is working hard to get back in the game. He just needs the right trainer to help him face a future not as "crippled," but as "special." Festus is a 5-month-old shepherd-lab mix, almost all black, with just a bit of white on his chest.
