Captain's Coffee 2 opens

A new Captain's Coffee cafe and espresso stand is open for business at the corner of Ocean Drive and FAA Road.

Captain's Coffee 2 cafe and espresso stand is now open for business at the corner of Ocean Drive and FAA Road in a remodeled gas station. The cafe opened Memorial Day weekend, with hours 5:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.

Captain's Coffee 2 offers the same brands of coffee roasted at Captain's Coffee at its main location on Pioneer Avenue. Captain's Coffee 2 also sells smoothies and baked goods. Owner Ty Gates said he hopes to keep the stand open year-round.
