Homer's afternoon recreational soccer program for youth ages 5 to 12 begins this week, running on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year in two sessions, from June 9 to July 2, and from July 14 to Aug. 6.

The Skill Builder sessions will begin at 1 p.m. for 5 to 8-year-olds, 2:15 p.m. for 8 to 10-year-olds, and 3:30 p.m. for 10 to 12-year-olds. The June session will be at West Homer Elementary School and the July session will be at Homer Middle School.

The Little Feet program, for players aged 3-5, will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. at Paul Banks Elementary. Fees, which include uniforms, are $75 for one session or $105 for both. For more information and to register visit the Soccer Association of Homer Web site, www.homersoccer.com.
